Mural Tours @ Downtown Vernon

Join Vernon Museum Education Coordinator Gabriel Newman as he walks you through downtown Vernon sharing anecdotes and history that inspired Vernon’s outdoor art gallery.
From murals depicting the world wars, to the beautiful pottery of Axel Ebring, the Okanagan Indian Band, cowboys, and multiculturalism, over 28 different murals are found in the downtown core. These works of art created by a collaboration of artists depict the history, culture, scenery, and folklore that have made Vernon what it is today.
Tours leave from the steps of the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives (GVMA), 3009-32nd Ave., Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 am, June 1st to September 28th. Limited to 20 per tour. Tickets can be purchased in advance at https://www.eventbrite.ca or at the door for $5.00 cash only please.
The Downtown Mural Tours are presented by the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives in partnership with the Downton Vernon Association (DVA).
